It appears that no SIM unlock software will be available through iPhone Application Store. This is according to Engadget, who had a chance to ask Apple in post keynote Q&A session, where they got a confirmation that SIM unlock software will not be allowed in the iPhone App Store.

BBC has unveiled iPlayer, a tool to stream on demand TV to the iPhone users. Right now users will only be able to stream shows over Wi-Fi networks. Edge network won’t be supported, since it’s too slow. BBC also reported that they are working on the version of the player for other mobiles, as well as finalizing current one.

Anthony Rose said: “We started with iPhone because it is the device most optimized for high quality video currently available”.
