Analysts are pointing out that iPhone sales are wailing currently, while people are expecting a 3G device soon-ish. Although nobody knows when, exactly, it’ll be released, consumers are already expecting it (much like half the iPhone user population).
On top of the slowdown in sales, one analyst is also pointing out that Apple’s ten-million quota for 2008 probably won’t happen, and especially not without a 3G iPhone release. The same analyst says that the 3G iPhone will likely include many new and updated features: “Apple is likely to offer a faster processor in the devices, along with more onboard memory, which will also increase speed, downloading/uploading rates and browsing experience.”
